Crews on site.
Not next week.
Tomorrow.

Henry's Labour supplies pre-screened, ticketed workers to construction sites, warehouses, factories and roadworks across Sydney and greater NSW. Tell us the role, the site and the start time. Most jobs we fill in 24 to 48 hours.

Every ticket sighted
White Card, licences and right-to-work checked and copied before anyone is sent anywhere.
Weekly pay
Workers paid every week, superannuation paid on time. That is why they turn up.
One contact
You deal with the person who owns the business, not a call queue or a different consultant every time.
01 — What we do

Three services.
No padding.

We are a labour supply business. We are not a consultancy and we do not sell workforce strategy. We find people, check them properly, and put them where you need them.

Labour hire

Casual, short-term and project-based crews. You tell us the role, the site, the hours and the tickets required. We supply the worker, pay them, insure them and handle the paperwork. You approve the timesheet.

  • General and skilled labourers
  • Trades assistants and offsiders
  • Forklift, order picker and machinery operators
  • Pickers, packers and storepersons
  • Cleaners and site prep crews
Request a crew

Permanent recruitment

When you want the person on your own books. We shortlist, screen, reference-check and present. You interview and hire. Fee is a flat percentage of the first-year package, agreed in writing before we start — and a replacement guarantee if it doesn't work out.

  • Temp-to-perm conversions
  • Site supervisors and leading hands
  • Warehouse and logistics coordinators
  • Trades and technical roles
  • Office and administration support
Brief us on a role

Traffic management

Ticketed traffic controllers for roadworks, civil projects, utility works and events. Supplied as labour, or as a crew working to a traffic control plan. Every controller holds a current ticket and the correct PPE.

  • Traffic controllers (stop/slow)
  • Roadworks and civil site control
  • Event and exhibition traffic control
  • Utility and telco works
  • After-hours and night shift crews

04 — How it works

Four steps.
One phone call.

You call or send the brief

Role, site address, start time, hours, tickets and PPE required, and how long you need them for. Two minutes on the phone or one form on this page.

We confirm the rate

You get an hourly charge rate in writing before anyone is booked — including overtime, weekend and shift loadings. No surprises on the invoice.

We check and brief the worker

Right to work, tickets, licences and references verified. They get your site address, start time, parking, PPE and induction requirements before they leave home.

You approve the timesheet

Weekly timesheet approved by your supervisor, then invoiced. We pay the worker, the super, the tax and the workers comp. You pay one invoice.

For employers

Why use us

  • No recruitment fee on labour hire — you pay an hourly charge rate, nothing else.
  • We carry the employment risk: wages, super, PAYG, workers compensation and payroll tax.
  • Scale up for a peak and stop when it ends. No redundancy, no termination process.
  • Trial a worker on hire before offering them a permanent role.
  • If someone is not right, tell us that morning. We replace them and you are not charged for the wasted time.
  • One point of contact who knows your site, not a different consultant every call.

For workers

Want shifts?

  • Paid weekly. Superannuation paid to your fund on time, every quarter.
  • Real shifts on real sites across Sydney — not a database you never hear from again.
  • We tell you the site, the hours and the rate before you accept. Every time.
  • Bring your White Card, tickets and licences and we can get you working quickly.
  • No cost to you, ever. Employers pay us — you never pay a cent.
  • Do good work and we keep calling you. That is the whole arrangement.

05 — Compliance & safety

The boring part
that matters

Labour hire goes wrong in one of two ways: the wrong person turns up, or the paperwork does not stack up when someone gets hurt. Both are avoidable. Here is what happens before any worker is sent to your site.

Every placement is documented. If you need our insurance certificates of currency, a worker's ticket copies or our safety documentation for your procurement system, ask and you will have it the same day.

  • Right to work verifiedPassport, birth certificate or VEVO check for visa holders — sighted and recorded before the first shift.
  • Tickets and licences sightedWhite Card (RIIWHS201), forklift and machinery licences, traffic control tickets, EWP and working-at-heights where relevant. Copies held, expiry dates diarised.
  • References checkedWe call the last supervisor. Not an email address — a phone call.
  • Site-specific briefingYour address, start time, supervisor's name, PPE, parking and induction requirements go to the worker before they leave home.
  • InsuredPublic liability, workers compensation and professional indemnity. Certificates of currency available on request.
  • Correctly paidModern award classification, casual loading, overtime and shift penalties applied properly — so you are not the one exposed to an underpayment claim.
  • Incidents reported same dayAny injury or near miss is reported to you and recorded on the day it happens.

07 — Questions

Straight answers

How fast can you actually get someone on site?

For general labouring, warehouse and traffic control roles, usually 24 to 48 hours — and often same day if you call before 10am and the site is in metropolitan Sydney. Specialist or highly ticketed roles take longer, and we will tell you that upfront rather than promise something we cannot deliver.

What does it cost?

Labour hire is charged as an hourly rate per worker. That rate covers their wage, superannuation, PAYG, workers compensation, payroll tax and our margin — there is no separate placement fee, no sign-up fee and no minimum contract. The rate depends on the role, the award classification, the shift and the tickets required, and you get it in writing before anyone is booked. Permanent placements are charged as a flat percentage of first-year package, agreed in advance.

Is there a minimum number of hours?

Yes — a minimum engagement applies per shift, as required under the relevant modern award. For most casual placements this is four hours. We will confirm the exact minimum when we quote the role.

Who employs the worker — you or us?

We do. On a labour hire placement the worker is our employee. We pay their wages, superannuation and tax, and we hold their workers compensation cover. You direct and supervise their work on your site, and you retain your work health and safety duties as the occupier of that site — those duties are shared, not transferred.

What if the worker is no good?

Call us that morning. We will replace them and you will not be charged for the time. We would rather lose a few hours of billing than have you stop using us.

Can we hire someone permanently after they have worked for us on hire?

Yes. Temp-to-perm is normal and we encourage it — trialling someone on site is a far better hiring process than an interview. A conversion fee applies, scaled down the longer the worker has been on hire with you, and it is set out in the terms of business before you engage us.

Do you supply outside New South Wales?

Not at this stage. Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and the ACT each require labour hire providers to hold a state licence, and we do not advertise coverage we are not licensed to deliver. If you have a national requirement, tell us — we will be straight with you about what we can and cannot do.

How do timesheets and invoicing work?

The worker records their hours, your supervisor approves the timesheet at the end of each week, and we invoice against the approved hours. Standard payment terms are 14 days from invoice. Approved accounts can be set up on request.

I'm looking for work — how do I sign up?

Fill in the "Find work" form on this page or send your details and tickets through, and we will call you. There is never a fee for workers. Have your White Card, any licences or tickets, your tax file number, superannuation fund details and bank details ready — that is what gets you working fastest.
